In order to comply with the provision of the Older Californians Act, the following composition for the Commission on Aging was proposed: 10 members appointed by the Board of Supervisors (2 from each Supervisorial District); 6 members appointed by the respective City Councils within San Joaquin County (`1 from each city -- Stockton, Lodi, 'Tracy, Manteca, Escalon, Ripon); 5 repre- sentatives of agencies serving seniors. The revised San Joaquin County Commission on Aging composition requirements are now in effect. The Commission on Aging, by federal lax, must reflect the county Is makeup in relat+-3n to minority and low income representation.
