RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements in "Stockton Street improvements, Kettleman to Vine," and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion, with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND'INFORMATION:. The contract was awarded to Claude C. Wood Company of Lodi on February , 1985 in the amount of $409,668. The contract has been com- pleted -in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was July 26, 1985, and the actual completion date is July 26, 1985. The final contract price was $460,871.78. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is due to costs for additional work to stabilize subgrade; an overrun in Asphaltic concrete of$5,000 and miscellaneous items that became necessary or desirable as the work progressed. ac L. RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements in "Legion Park Tennis Court Resurfacing" and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Sports Surfacing Inc. of Pinedale, CA, on July 3, 1985, in the amount of $11,700.00. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Claude C. Woods Co. of Lodi on May 15, 1965 in the amount of $117,812.00. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was July 28, 1985 and the actual completion date is August 2, 1985. The final price was $144,992.07. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Myers Bros. Farming & Well Drilling of Hanford on March 6, 1985, in the amount of $31,500. The con- tract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and speci- fications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was June 1, 1985, and the actual completion date is July 29, 1985. The final contract price was $313192.65.
