Please be advised that the Lodi City Council, in action
taken at a regular meeting held August 7, 1985, by motion
action, approved the disposal Of Police Department surplus
radio equipment.
It will now be in order for this equipment to be turned
over to the Communications Officer of San Joaquin County
General Services for distribution to rural fire districts.

Please be advised that the Lodi City Council, in action
taken at a regular meeting held August 7, 1985, by motion
action, approved the disposal Of Police Department surplus
radio equipment.
It will now be in order for this equipment to be turned

RESOLUTION NO. 85-99 AMENDED
A RESOLUTION AUTWRIZING DE;SI'RUCTION OF
CERTAIN REDDRDS RETAINED BY THE LODI POLICE DEPARnVETT
In accordance with Goverment Code Section 34090, tl-.e City
Attorney has filed his written consent to the destruction of records
retained by the %Tedi. Police Department, an inventory of which is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and thereby made a part hereof.
BE; IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi that:
1. The records heretofore identified are more than five years old
and are no longer required,
2. The City Council of the City of Lodi finds that the City
Attorney has given his written consent tothe destruction of
the records inventoried on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and the
destruction of these records is hereby authorized.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 85-99 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a
Regular Meeting held August 7, 1985 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members - Pinkerton, Olson, Reid,
Snider, and Hinchman (Mayor)

Destruction of Certain Records
Under authority Section 34090, Government .:ode, I request
permission to destroy certain records in excess of five (5)
years of age. Records to be destroyed are as follows:
1) Background investigations and employment records of
previous employees who have left employment of the
City over five years ago. Does not include retirees.
2) Background investigations on previous applicants not
hired, over five years old.
3) Crime reports and incident reports and traffic reports
over five years old except for those wiTa peiiding
court action and all homicide investigations.
