MEMORANDUM
To: Honorable Mayor and
Members of the City Council
6z"M: City Manager
DATE: August 4, 1986
SUBJDCT: Salary Resolutions
Judy Johnson has delivered corrected copies of two salary resolutions
and will,,'if your binder is available, insert same. The first one is
the corrected °resolution = for "certain unclassified personnel",
essentially department heads. The one change is in the range for
AdRnninistrativ+e
Assistant to the City Manager. 'The bottom nmrber of the
range is correct; the top should read $2,981 instudd of $2,481.My
handwritten "9" looked too 'much like a "4" and was picked up: that way
in the typing.
With regard -to the schedule of City Council appointees, the computer,
for some inexplicable 'reason, put out a wrong omr plisation mzber for
the City Attorney. Rhe $230 per month adjustment remains the same, but
it applies Poa. higher base ($4,955 versus $4,854).
However, it will even out in January with a lesser adjustment which
will then achieve the City Council's goal of reaching the control point
for this position intwosteps. The final result and the total -dollar
amount of the two adjustments will be the same. z
