We hereby transmit a certified copy of this Commission's Resolution N0.521
approving the above entitled proposal and authorizing the City of Lodi
to conduct subsequent proceedings.
Upon successful completion of City proceedings, the City must request that
LAFCo execute and file a Certificate of Completion and State of Boundary
Change. Such request must be accompanied by six certified copies of your
resolution ordering the boundary change and a check payable to the State
Board of Equalization covering its filing fee.

RESOLUTION NO. 521
BEFORE THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EAST -SIDE WINERY REORGANIZATION (LAFC 22-81),
INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI AND DETACHMENT FROM
MOKELUMNE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the above entitled proposal was initiated by
Resolution of the City of Lodi, and on June 23, 1981, the Executive
Officer certified the application filed for processing in accordance
with the District Reorganization Act; and,
WHEREAS, the Commission held a public hearing on the proposed
reorganization on July 17, 1981, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers,
County Courthouse, pursuant to notice of hearing which was published,
posted and mailed in accordance with State law; and,
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Commission heard and received
evidence, both oral and documentary, submitted in favor of and in
opposition to the proposed reorganization and all persons present
were given an opportunity to hear and be heard fn respect to any
matter relating to said proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Local Agency Formation Commission of San
Joaquin County DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The Environmental Impact Report adopted by the City
of Lodi as lead agency has been reviewed and considered.

Section 2. The above entitled reorganization is approved
subject to the terms and conditions contained herein.
Section 3. The boundaries are hereby approved as amended,
said.boundaries being set forth in Exhibit "A".
Section 4. The affected territory is uninhabited.
Section S. The City of Lodi is designated as the conducting
agency and is authorized to complete proceedings for uninhabited
reorganization without public notice and hearing by the City Council
pursuant to Section 56439.5 of the District Reorganization Act.
Section 6. The Executive Officer is hereby authorized and
directed to mail and file certified copies of this Resolution as
required by Section 56272 of the Government Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of July, 1981, by the following
vote of the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County,
to wit:
AYES: Commissioners Barber, Canclini, Nelson, Rue and Wilhoit

EAST -SIDE WINERY
Reorganization
to the City of Lodi
A portion of the Northeast and Southeast Quarters of
Section six (6), Township three (3) North, Range seven (7) East,
Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of State Highway 12
(Victor Road) at its intersection with the northerly extension
of the west line of PARCEL "A" as shown on map filed July 28,
1976 in Book 3 of Parcel Maps, page 69, San Joaquin County
Records, said point being also a point on the boundary of
NOTTINGHAM ADDITION as annexed -to the City 8f Lodi September 21,
1977 by Resolution No. 4391; thence South 1 06' 001' East
along the northerly extension and west line of said PARCEL "A"
and the existing City Limits line 720.40 9eet to the southwest
corner ofsaid PARCEL "A"; thence North 89 51' 00" East along
the south line of said PARCEL "A" and the existing Ciiy Limits
line 680.50 fest to the southeast corner of said PARCEL "A";
thence !North 1 06' 00" West along the east line of said PARCEL
"A", and the northerly extension of said east line 720.65 feet
to a Point on the north line of said State Highway 12 (Victor
Road); thence South 89 49' 45" West, along said north line
680.50 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 11.25 acres, more or less.

Dear Mr. Scott:
Pursuant to the Commission's Resolution No. 521, the Lodi City Council
in action taken at its August 5 1981 regular meeting adopted Resolution
No. 81-110 - "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Lodi After
Hearing Ordering Reorganization".
Pursuant to your July 21, 1981 letter, we have enclosed herewith six
certified copies of the heretofore mentioned Resolution. Also enclosed
is a check payable to the State Board of Equalization in the amount of
$150.00 covering the filing fee.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LODI AFTER HEARING ORDERING REORGANIZATION
BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI
IN THE MATTER OF THE EASTSIDE WINERY REORGANIZATION ) RESOLUTION MAKING
(LAFC 22-81), INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF )
DETERMINATIONS AND
LODI AND DETACHMENT FROM THE MOKELUMNE RURAL COUNTY ) ORDERING REORGANIZATION
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT ) WITHOUT ELECTION
SECTION I: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI THAT 'IT DETERMINES:
(a) Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of described territory
to the City of Lodi and detachment from the Mokelumne Rural County
Fire Protection District were initiated by the filing of Resolution
No. 81-74 with the Local Agency Formation Cru,ission in the County
of San Joaquin pursuant to the requirements of the District Reorganiza-
tion Act.
(b) Thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted by said Local Agency
Formation Commission and the said Commission, on the 17th day of
July 1981, adopted Resolution No. 521 approving the proposed reorgani-
zation without public notice and hearing with certain amendments.
(c) Resolution No. 521 of the Local Agency Formation Commission approving
the proposed reorganization also authorizing the City of Lodi to take
proceedings for reorganization as designated conducting Agency,
pursuant to Part 5, Division I, Title 6 of the Government Code,
commencing with Section 56290, et seq.
SECTION II: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI:
(a) That each of the changes in the organization contained in the
proposal for organization is ORDERED without an election pursuant
to Government Code Section 56439 (c). The changes of organization
consist of:

shown on Exhibit "A" attached.
(2) Detachment of the Eastside Addition, as shorwn
on Exhibit "A" attached, from the Mokelumne:
Rural County Fire Protection District.
