AMENDED
RES.NO.85-91 Council was apprised that, effective August 1, 1985, the
State will be changing various fees. In order to keep
from operating at a loss it will be necessa-i- to change
the Police Department's fees accordingly.
Council adopted Resolution. No. 85-91 amending the
following fees as follows:
Concealed Weapon Application $22.75
Concealed Weapon Renewal $ 7.50
Taxi Driver $23.50
Solicitor $23.50
Card Room Owner $18.50
Card Room Dealer $28.50
Range fees for concealed weapons permits - $10.00
for up to two weapons and $5.00 for each additional
weapon.

Effective August I, 1985 the State will be changing their fees for licensing as shown
below.
In order to keep from operating at a loss, it will be necessary for us to change our
fees accordingly. In addition to State mandated changes, I request a change in Ranae
fees for concealed weapons permits. At present we charge a flat 1110.00. 1 would
propose a change to $110.00 for up to 2 weapons and $5.00 for each additional weapon.
(We have had people come in with 4 and 5 weapons.)

Noncriminal. Aplicant Fingerprint Dees
Under the provisions of Section 11105 of the Penal Code, the Department of
Justice is authorized to charge agencies submitting noncriminal applicant
fingerprints a fee sufficient to reimburse the Department for its costs.
Based on the approved budget for the Department of Justice for Fiscal Year
1985--86, the fee will be eignteen dollars and fifty cents ($18.�O)
effective August 1, 1985. This fee applies to noncriminal applicant
fingerprint clearances for employment, licensing, or certification purposes
including those for criminal justice employees and peace officer
clearances.
Record Review and Immigration Clearances
Under Sectic-s 11120-11127 of the Penal Code, individuals are offered the
opportunity to obtain a copy of their State summary criminal history record
for purposes of determining completeness and accuracy. Also, under Section
11105(c)(8) of the Penal Code, individuals may submit a request to the
Department of. Justice fir record clearance when needed for immigration
purposes. The Department of Justice fee for these services will be,$20.00
for Fiscal Year 1985-86.
Effective August 1, 1985, the total fee for processing
licenses to carry concealed weapons as defined by Section
the Penal Code will be 22.75. Please note this reflects
in the law, which formerly restricted the CCW application
but which now allows the collection of a fee sufficient

FBI Applicant Fingerprint Fees
The Federal bureau of Investigation has informed the Department of Justice
that its applicant fingerprint fees will be $14.00 effective October 1,
1985. The current $12.00 fee will remain effective until that time.
Please note that the FBI does exempt law enforcement personnel from their
fee.
