DEVELOPMENT AGREE- CotmciI was apprised that Lodi Door, Inc.„ � to ovner/de°✓elopers
MENT AMENDMENT FGR of the property at 1220 East Victor Road, have requested that
1220 EAST VICTOR the bonds covering off-site improvements along Cluff Avenue,
ROAD APPROVED which they have provided since September 1980, be released and
they be allowed to enter into a development agreement with the City
to defer the improvements required under those bonds. The
developer has already installed the required improvements
on Victor Road and Mounce Avenue. i
Because of the future storm drain installation in Cluff Avenue,
the off-site improvements in that area have been delayed. They '
have been paying premiums on the bonds required by the develop-
ment agreement and the amendment will allow the City to release
the bonds.
COUNCIL APPROVED THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT AMENDMENT FOR 1220
EAST VICTOR ROAD, LODI, AND AUTHORIZED THE CITY MANAGER AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.

SUBJECT: Development Agreement Amendment for 1220 East -Victor Road
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the development agree-
ment amendment and direct the City Manager and City Clerk to sign on
behalf of the City.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Lodi Door, Inc., the owner/developers of the property
at 1220 East Victor Road, have requested that the bonds covering off-site
improvements along Cluff Avenue, which they have provided since.September.
1980, be released and they be allowed to enter into a development agree-
ment with the City to defer the improvements required under those bonds.
The developer has already installed the required improvements on Victor
Road and Mounce Street.
Because of the future storm drain installation in Cluff Avenue, the off-site
Improvements In that area have been delayed... They have been paying
premiums on the bonds required by the development agreement and the amend-
ment will allow the City to release the bonds.
This amendment is similar to the agreement entered into with other developers
along Cluff Avenue when it was in the City's best interest to defer their
off-st.te-Improvements.
