BACKGROUND INFORMATION: As a result of the recent appointment of Mitchell Slater to the Planning Commission, Mr. Slater has resigned his position on the Site Plan and Architectural Review Committee. Therefore, it is recommended that the City Council direct the City Clerk to post for the following. Government Code Section 54970 et sec.. requires that the City Clerk post for vacancies to allow citizens interested in serving to submit an application. SPARC meets at 5:15 p.m. on the 2nd and 4`h Wednesdays of each month at the Carnegie Forum and consists of 5 members, each serving 4 -year terms. Applications are now being accepted to fill one (1) vacancy on SPARC, term to expire January 1, 2014. Applications may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office at 221 W. Pine St., 2nd floor.
