HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - July 16, 1986 (70)CITY COUNCIL MEETING_- JULY 16, 1986 ACCEPT THE DIPROVIIMEVTS FOR ARMORY PARK FENCE Council was apprised that the contract which had been . awarded to Central Fence Company of Stockton on May 7, CC-14(a) 1986, in the amount of $20,674.75 has been canpleted in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The final contract price was $21,365. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to a change order for the construction of some additional fencing and a gate at the northwest corner of the park. Council accepted the improvements for Amory Park Fence, Stockton Street/Lawrence Avenue/Washington Street, and directed the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Canpletion with the County Recorder's Office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to Central Fence Company of Stockton on May 7, 1986, in the amount of $20,674.75. The contract completion date was July 5, 1986, and the actual completion date is July 8, 1986. The final contract price was $21,365. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to a change order for the construction of some additional fencing and a gate at the north- west corner o the park.
