COUNCIL COMMUNICATVN
July 15, 1981
SUBJECT:
Specifications for the purchase of chairs and tables for Hutchins Street Square
Recommended Action:
That the City Council approve the specifications for the purchse
of 400 chairs, 40 tables, and 4 table storage racks for Hutchins
Street Square, and authorize advertisement for bids thereon.
The bid opening has been set for .Tuly 27, 1967.
Background Information:
Increased demand for use of facilities requires on-site
availability of chairs and tables to provide service for up
to 400 guests. Currently, chairs and tables are moved from
Hale Park as each function dictates, taking a crew of three
to four people one-half day to complete the more. Additionally,
frequent moves increase wear on the existing furniture and
shorten its useful life.
Estimated cost: $14,700.00
Budgeted amount: $14,900.00
