The subject contract was awarded to McCay Construction Co. of Clovis on February 5, 1986, in the amount of $99,183.50. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price is mainly due to an increase in amount of paving required and costs related to conflict with an underground gas line. Revenue Sharing RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements in "ROPER/CRESCE AREA STORM DRAIN," and direct the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Com- pletion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The contract was awarded to McCay Construction Co. of Clovis on February 5, 1986, in the amount of $99,183.50. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was May 29, 1986, and the actual completion date is June 23, 1986. The final contract price was $101,250+.
