BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This item has been placed on the agenda to afford the City Council the opportunity to continue its review of the 1990-91 Operating Budget. Respectfully submitted, Thomas A. The City Council hereby adopts by reference as if fully set forth herein the document entitled "1990-91 ADOPTED BUDGET", copies of which are on file with and available from the City Clerk. SECTION 3. An appropriation spending limit for 1990-91, in compliance with Proposition 4, Article XIII B of the California Constitution, as specified in Government Code Section 37200, is $30,875,992, and the 1990-91 appropriation subject to the limit is $17,847,059. This section shall be deemed a part of the budget. SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are repealed insofar as such conflict may exist SECTION 5. This urgency ordinance shall be published one time in the "Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi and shall be in force and take effect immediately.
