BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project was originally to be part of the Maple/ Central Storm Drain project. The cost of the work exceeded the funds available in the -storm drain project and there were questions over extensive sidewalk re- placement. Since then, funds have accumulated in the miscellaneous curb and gutter projects account (approximately $91,000) and the City's policies re- garding sidewalk replacement have been formalized.
