HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - June 17, 1987 (76)TO: THE CITY COUNCI; FROM: THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE June 1.7, 1.987 -----i SUBJ1CT: — Presentation by the Old Lodi Union High School Site Foundation NO, PREPARED BY: Community Center Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept this donation froia the Old Lodi Union High School Site Foundation and apply it to the loan which is building the Fine Arts Facility. BACKGROUND INFOR2VMATICN: The City loaned the Old LUES Site Foundation $750,000 to construct the Fine Arts Facility at Hutchins Street Square. Terms of the agreement included the repayment of the loan through donations from the Lodi community. During the past few months, the Foundation has worked diligently to repay this loan. Tonight's donation of $50,000, which will be presented by a member of the Foundation Board, brings the total contribution to $250,000.
