Ronsko Pu lic Works Director ��J City Clerk Enclosure JLR/eeh o CITY OF LODI PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO: City Council FROM: City Manager DATE: June i1, 1982 COUNCIL COMMUNICATION SUBJECT: Approve Plans and Specifications for West Lockeford St. Improvements RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the pians and specifications or "Lockeford Street Improvements - Ham Lane to California Street," and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for bids to be received Wednesday, June 30, 1982. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The widening and reconstruction of Lockeford Street: between Nam Lane to Crescent Avenue was approved in the 1981-1982 Capital Im— provement Budget with an estimated expenditure of $91,000. The project has been expanded to include Lockeford Street, Crescent Avenue to California Street. In general, the work consists of reconstructing and widening the street including upgrading the water system and providing for future traffic signals at California and Lockeford. The project is estimated at $310,000. A special allocation will be reyussted at the time of contract award.
