SUBJECT: Relocation of poles on Church Street -
Lockeford to Turner
The City Council at their last regular meeting of June 16, 1982.
asked me to confirm that Pacific Telephone is on schedule with
their pole relocation on Church Street (Lockeford to Turner).
I would appreciate a letter prior to our Council's next .Heating
(July 7, 1982), confirming your relocation schedule.
As the Lodi office has closed down since our last correspondence,
I am enclosing a copv of my February 19 letter addressed to Mr.
Jack Coy. if additional background information is neededto com-

SUBJECT: Approve Plans and Specifications for West Lockeford St. Improvements
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the pians and specifications
or "Lockeford Street Improvements - Ham Lane to California Street," and authorize
the City Clerk to advertise for bids to be received Wednesday, June 30, 1982.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The widening and reconstruction of Lockeford Street:
between Nam Lane to Crescent Avenue was approved in the 1981-1982 Capital Im—
provement Budget with an estimated expenditure of $91,000. The project has
been expanded to include Lockeford Street, Crescent Avenue to California Street.
In general, the work consists of reconstructing and widening the street including
upgrading the water system and providing for future traffic signals at California
and Lockeford.
The project is estimated at $310,000. A special allocation will be reyussted
at the time of contract award. The additional money is needed to include
the project expansion.
