CITY OF L t
The Lodi Burn to Learn Project is now history. It was a real learning
experience for all of us involved.
I want to express my deep appreciation to you and the members of the City
Council for allowing us to undertake this project. For most of the
people, it was a once in a life time opportunity to gain knowledge and
experience that cannot be obtained in any other way.
You can be very proud of your fire department. They did an outstanding
job throughout the whole project, and the cooperation we received was
outstanding.
We, also, received fine cooperation from the Public Works, Recreation
and Parks, Water and Sewer, Community Development, and Community Relations
Departments.. My only disappointment was that the Police Department did
not desire to participate with us in the project.
Everyone in the state now knows where Lodi is, and the 350 fire fighters
and 110 instructors, medical, overhead, and etc. personnel involved in
the training-, all say "THANKS" for giving us this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Fa9w
