Clark, President League of California Cities 1400 K Street Sacramento, California 95814 Dear Dr. Clark: The City of Lodi joins other communities throughout the state in its grave concerns regarding revenue losses being experienced by California Cities. State mandated costs place an undue burden upon cities, many of which are struggling just to provide basic services to their cities. Additionally, cities are burdened with State regulations that are costly and have an adverse affect upon their community. The City Council of the City of Lodi wishes to express its intention to join other California Cities through the efforts of the League of California Cities in opposing State mandated costs and the amending or elimination of State regulations adversely affecting California Cities.
