FROM THE CITY MANAGER1 OFFICE Hay 24, 1984 SUBJECT: PURCHASE OF WATTHOUR METERS (UD -E84-3) On Tuesday, May 22, 1984, bids were received for 576 watthour meters. These meters will be usedto meter electric energy usage at the following developments: Lakeshore Village Park West Beckman Ranch Summerfield Noma Ranch as well as various smaller developments throughout the City and to maintain an inventory of meters for other needs as they develop-. Concord No Response U Delivery weeks_ 4-S 8 8 a] RESOLUTION NO. 84-070 0 AWARD - PURCHASE OF 576 WATTHOUR METERS WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on May 22, 1984 at 11:00 a.m. for the contra-ct for purchase of 576 Watthour Meters as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council April 18, 1984; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: BIDDER Ace Supply Maydwell a Hartzell G.E. Supply AMOUNT $21.,394.20 $18.029.84 $19,080.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made to the low bidder. Maydwell a Hartzell, Inc. NM. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for purchase of Watthour Meters be and the same is hereby made to Maydwell a Hartzell of Brisbane, California, the low bidder, in the amount of $18,029.84.
