RESOLUTION NO. 509
BEFORE THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NOMA REORGANIZATION (LAFC 10-81),
INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI AND DETACHMENT FROM
WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the above entitled proposal was initiated by resolution of the
City of Lodi, and on March 31, 1981, the Executive Officer certified the
application filed for processing in accordance with the District Reorganization
Act; and,
WHEREAS, the Commission held a public hearing on the proposed reorganization
on May 15, 1981, in the Board of Supervisors Chambers, County Courthouse,
_pursuant to notice of hearing which was published, posted and mailed in accordance
with State law; and,
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Commission heard and received evidence, both
oral and documentary, submitted in favor of and -in opposition to the proposed
reorganization and all persons present were given an opportunity to hear and
be heard in respect to any matter relating to said proposal;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. The Negative Declaration adopted by the City of Lodi as lead
agency has been reviewed and considered.
Section 2. The above entitled reorganization is approved subject to the
terms and conditions contained herein.
Section 3. -The boundaries are hereby approved, said boundaries being set
forth in Exhibit A.
Section 4. The affected territory is uninhabited.
Section 5. The City of Lodi is designated as the conducting agency and is
authorized to complete proceeding without public notice and hearing by the
City, pursuant to the provisions of the District Reorganization Act.

A portion of "A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION" of the Northeast
one-quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range.6 East, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian, the map or plat being fixed in Book of
Official Maps and Plats, Volume 2, page 4, San Joaquin County
Records, and described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of GEWEKE ADDITION NO. 3,
as annexed to the City of Lodi by Lodi City Resolution No. 4332,
being the northwest corner of Lot 11 of said "A. J. LARSON'S
SUBDIVISION"; thence along the Lodi City Limit line the following
three (3) courses: (l) North 87* 07' East along the north line
of said Lot 11, and along the north line of Lot 8 of said
"A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION", 991.69 feet to the northeast corner
of said Lot 8, (2) South 00" 38' East along the east line of said
Lot 8, a distance of 867 feet to the southeast corner thereof on the

Re: Noma Reorganization (LAFC 10-81), including annexation to the City

Dear Mr. Scott:
Pursuant to the Commission's Resolution No. 509, the Lodi City Council,
in action taken at its June 3, 1981 regular meeting, adopted Resolution
No. 81-68, "Resolution Making Determination and Ordering Reorganization
Without Public Hearing and Election Pursuant to Section 65271.1 of the
Government Code in the Matter of the Noma Addition and Detachment from
the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District".
The City of Lodi issued and filed a certificate of completion and a
statement of boundary change.
Pursuant to your May 22, 1981 letter, we have attached herewith six
certified copies of the heretofore mentioned Resolution. Also enclosed
is a check payable to the State Board of Equalization in the amount of
$320.00 covering the filing fee.

ORDERING REORGANIZATION
WITHOUT ELECTION
SECTION I: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LODI THAT IT DETERMINES:
(a)' Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of
described territory to the City of Lodi and
detachment from the Woodbridge Rural County
Fire Protection District were initiated by the
filing of Resolution No. 81-28 with the Local
Agency Formation Commission in the County of
San Joaquin pursuant to the requirements of the
District Reorganization Act.
(b) Thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted
by said Local Agency Formation Commission and the
said Commission, on the 15th day of May, adopted
Resolution No. 509 approving the proposed reorgani-
zation without public notice and hearing with
certain amendments.
(c) Resolution No. 509 of the Local Agency Formation
Commission approving the proposed reorganization
also authorizing the City of Lodi to take pro-
ceedings for reorganization as designated conduct-
ing Agency, pursuant to Part 5, Division I, Title
6 of the Government Code, commencing with Section
56290, et seq.
SECTION II: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LODI:
(a) That each of the changes in the organization
contained in the proposal for organization is
ORDERED without an election pursuant to
Government Code Section 56439 (c).' The changes
of organization consist of:

We hereby transmit a certified copy of this Commission's Resolution No. 509
approving the above entitled proposal and authorizing the City of Lod;
to conduct subsequent proceedings.
Upon successful completion of City proceedings, the City must request that
LAFCo execute and file a Certificate of Completion and Statement of Boundary
Change. Such request must he accompanied by six certified copies of your
resolution ordering the boundary change and a check payable to the State
Board of Equalization covering its filing fee.
