HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - May 21, 1986 (71)FINANCING OF SIDEFALIi CONSTRUCTION IN AREAS DETERMINED TO QUALIFY �. `t FOR COMMUNITY BLOCK GRANT FUNDS At its regular meeting of May 7, 1986, the City Council adopted a resolution determining the public need for RES.86-83 sidewalk installations on the east side of Stockton Street "= between Vine Street and Tokay Street. The matter has been # CC=6 set for public hearing for the regular City Council meeting OC -45(a) of June 4, 1986. In addition, the -Council directed the OC -55 Staff to develop alternatives for providing financial assistance for sidewalk installations for areas which meet- the eetthe criteria for.the expenditures of Commmity Development t Block Grant funds. s Various alternatives were presented for Councils perusal f' and a lengthy discussion followed. On motion of Council F Member Snider, Reid second,Council adopted Resolution No. 86-83 estz6lishing alternatives .for providing financial t assistance for sidewalk installations in areas which meet w the criteria for the expenditures of ^omtmity Development r Y.
