BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project consists of the installation of a 15" storm drain to Improve the drainage at the intersection of Hutchins and Tokay. Budge: 1983 Fund: Transportation Redevelopment Ac Amount Budgeted: $270.000 Total Project Estimate; $240,000 Bid Opening Date: May 30, 1984 RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the plans and specifications for the abov-- project and authorize advertisement for bids thereon. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project includes the installation of a new traffic actuated signal at Cherokee and Lockeford and upgrading of the existing signals at Cherokee and Victor and Pine Streets. The signals will have City furnished con- trollers capable of time based coordination. The signals will not have left turn phases as part of the initial construction but are designed to accommodate them In the future if traffic volumes warrant them. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project includes the installation of curb, gutter and sidewalk on the east side of Calaveras Street at the Festival grounds parking lot.
