1 BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This
t project will widen Ilam Lane between Lodi Avenue
and Elm Street. New curb, gutter, and sidewalk will be installed on the west
side of the strae�. Right-of-way is in the process of being acquired.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the plans and specifications
for the above project and authorize advertisement for bids thereon.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project is the first phase of a water system up-
grade project which included new mains and hydrants in Church Street from
900' N/Vine Street to Tamarack Drive, and Park Street from 200' W/Church to
School Street. Work was to be by City forces. It is recommended that this phase
be done by contract in order to have it done prior to the street overlay scheduled
for this fal,,l;.
