SUBJECT: u_BASIN/PARK REORGANIZATION AND CERTIFICATION OF NEGATIVE DECLARATION
It is recommended that the City Council initiate the non-contiguous
annexation of G -Basin Park at the southeast corner of Lower
Sacramento Road and the future extension of Century Boulevard
and certify the filing of a Negative Declaration by the Community
Development Director as adequate environmental documentation.
The City Attorney has ruled that this annexation is outside of the
purvue of Measure "A" the Green Belt Initiative because it in no
way amends the Land Use Element of the General Plan and is a legal
process under State's annexation procedures.

Below is a list of projects for the 1985 Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) program. The City has approximately $430,000 of the
County allocation for next vear.

Grant Administrator, will be back from vacation and we will be prepared to
answer any questions.

RESOLUTION 85-50
A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL FOR THE APPLICATION
TO THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
REQUESTING APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED G-BASIN/PARK
REORGANIZATION
WHEREAS, this proposal is made pursuant to the Municipal
Organization Act of 1977, and
WHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change of organization is the
annexation to the City of Lodi of an area comprising 26.46 acres
more or less, of noncontiguous City owned territory which is used
for Municipal purposes, and
WHEREAS, no other counties, cities or districts are affected, and
WHEREAS, the subject area proposed to be annexed to the City of
Lodi is uninhabited and
WHEREAS, no new districts are proposed to be formed by this
organization, and
WHEREAS, the reason for this proposal is as follows:
1) To allow City jurisdiction over non-contiguous City -owned
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lodi that the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission is
hereby requested to approve the proposed G-Basin/Park
Reorganization.
