C. Wood Co. in the amount of $241,420.50 and appropriate an additional $12,00 for the project, BACKGROUND INFORMATION: This project includes the reconstruction and minor widening of Stockton Street. Alternate B includes full depth asphalt concrete instead of asphalt and aggregate base construction. Staff feelsthetime savings and ease of construction are worth the additional expenditure of $3285. The additional appropriation will be from the FAU fund - as much as is available - with the balance from the TDA fund. Plans and specifications for this project were approved on March 5, 1986. RESOLUTION NO. 86-58 AWARD - STOCKTON STREET IMPROVEMENTS, VINE TO TOKAY WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on April 9, 1986 at 11:00 a.m, for the contract for Stockton Street Improvements, Vine Street to Tokay, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council March 5, 1986; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Amount Alt.
