TO THE STATE, COUNTY AND CITY OFFICIALS AND INTERESTED
PARTIES IN APPLICATION NO. 60412
PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY hereby gives
notice that in Application No. 60412 it has requested
authorization to become a participant in the integrated coal
gasification combined cycle demonstration program at Cool
Water and to authorize concurrent recovery of its expenditures
resulting from sL�=h participation.
The Cool Water Program Adjustment (CPA) is proposed
to become effective on July 1, 1.981. The proposed adjustment
procedure would increase electric lifeline rates $00-0030
per kilowatt hour; residential tier II rates $0.00041 per
kwh; residential tier III rates $3.00057 per kwhi and .non
residential rates $0.0003.8 per kwh. PGand-E proposes to
revise the CPA rate annually on April 1 of each year or as
soon thereafter as the Commission may authorize.
The State, the counties, the municipal corporations,
and other parties interested in the above-mentioned piling
will be furnished a copy of Application No. 60412 with
related exhibits, upon written request made to PGandE, 77
Beale Street, San Francisco, California 94106, Attention:
Robert Ohlbach, Associate General Counsel.
This notice is given in accordance with Rule 24 of
the revised Rules of Practice and Procedure of the California
Public Utilities Commission.
