Under the City's Sanitary Sewer Ordinance, the City is eligible for reimbursement for this installation just as a developer would be reimbursed for a similar installatioan. H` 4�tt .,c ha� *T��• �• CITY OF LODI PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT COUNCIL COMMU[CATIO TO: City Council FROM: City Manager DATE: March 21, 1983 SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution for Reimbursement to City for Installation of Sanitary Sewer in Cluff Avenue RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a Resolution calling for reimbursement to the City of Lodi for installation of a sanitary sewer in Cluff Avenue - from Lodi Avenue to Pine Street. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: As part of the Cluff Avenue storm drain project, the City Is paying for the installation of a sanitary sewer in Cluff Avenue between Lodi Avenue and Pine Street. Under the City's Sanitary Sewer Ordinance, the City is eligible for reimbursement for this installation just as a developer would be reimbursed for a similar installation. The charge would be added to the normal development fees for parcels adjacent to Cluff Avenue between Lodi Avenur and Pine Street. J c L. THE CITY OF LODI FOR INSTALLATION OF SANITARY '1� �1• i?ti M .? '1�1 WHEREAS, the City of Lodi heretofore adopted Ordinance No. 1162 which ordinance provides for the reimbursement to developers of utility lines when benefits will result from said installation to other property owners; and WHEREAS, the City of Lodi is about to install an extension of the sanitary sewer line in Cluff Avenue between Lodi Avenue and Pine Street in accordance with City of Lodi Drawing 82D72 -82D73; and WHEREAS, the extended location of said extension is shown on Exhibit A attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. NOW, TfETWURE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that in the event any of the abutting property owners shown on Exhibit A attached hereto connect to the sanitary sewer extension line being installed as shown on the said City of Lodi Drawing 82D72 -82D73 and said connection is made, then the City shall collect from the developers of the abutting property owners, a sum based upon a charge of $7.77 per front foot, which front foot cost has been determined by the Public Works Director to be the property charge, all in accordance with said ordinance No. 1162. I hereby certify that Resolution No. was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held by the following vote: Ayes: Council Menbers - Noes: Council Members - Absent: Council Members - Alice M.
