METERS (UD -E83-2) DATE March 25, 1983 Specifications for the purchase of 672 watthour meters are presented for Council's approval and permission to advertise for bids is requested. The bid opening date has been set for Tuesday, May 3, 1983. The meters will be used to meter electric energy usage at residential living units, such as Sand Creek Condominium, Pheasant Run Condominium, Beckman Park Villa #2, Beckman Ranch #5, Lakeshore Village #2, Colony Ranch, single- family homes throughout the city, replacement of obsolete meters in older sections of the city and to replenish the Department's stock of meters. March 25, 1983 S`JBJKT ::gpgCIFICATIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF PA34MNT TRANSFORMERS (UD -E83-1) Specifications for the purchase of ten 50 KVA and five 75 KVA single- phase and one 75 KVA, three 112 KVA, two 150 KVA and two 300 KVA three-phase padmount transformers are presented for Council's approval and permission to advertise for bids is requested. The bid opening date has been set for Tuesday, May 3, 1983. The transformers will be utilized within the following developments Beckman Ranch #5 Beckman Park Villa #2 Lakeshore Village #2 Lodi Skilled Nursing Facility English Oaks Plaza Sand Creek Condominium Project and to replenish the Department's stock (4 units). The estimated cost of this purchase is $51,800 with delivery expected in four to five months. David K. C rry Utility Di ector Attach. r CITY OF LODI PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO: City Council FROM: City Manager DATE: March 23, 1983 COUNCIL COMMUNICATION SUBJECT: Approval of Asphalt Material Specifications RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the specifications for asphalt material and authorize the purchasing agent to advertise for bids to be received Wednesday, April 20, 1983. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The City advertises for asphalt material on a quarterly basis, however, due to stabilized prices and small quantities used during the winter months, we went to bid for six months in August, which covered the second and third quarter, the period of September 1, 1982 through March 30, 1983• The approval of asphalt specifications were inadvertently left off of the March City Council meetings and are therefore requesting we go to bid for the remaining two months of the fourth- quarter of fiscal year May 1, 1983 through June 30, 1983.
