Section 34090 of the state of California Government Code provides for the destruction of certain city records that are over two years old acid are no longer required with the approval of the legislative body by resolution and*the written consent of the City Attorney_ The City Attorr_ey has given his written consent to the destruction of certain files retained in the City Clerks office as shown. on Exhibit A attached hereto. P.eir=he City Clerk AM: RESOLUTION NO. 87-40 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS RETAINED BY THE CITY CLERK In accordance with Government Code Section 34090, the City Attorney has filed his written consent to the destruction of record retained by the City Clerk, an inventory of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A", and thereby made a part hereof. BE IT RESOLVED, by the city Council of the City of Lodi that: 1. The records heretofore identified are no long required. 2. The City Council of the City of Lodi finds that the City Attorney has given his written consent to the destruct, -a of the records inventoried on Exhibi "A" attached hereto and the destruction th. ,3e records is herby authorized.
