AGENDA TITLE: Approve Conversion of "Yield” Signs to "Stop" Signs on Rose
Street at Walnut Street, Lircoln Avenue at Daisy Avenue,
Chestnut Street at Lee Avenue, and Fairmont Avenue at Oak
Street
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the conversion of
yie signs to stop" signs on Rose Street at Walnut Street, Lincoln Avenue
at Daisy Avenue, Chestnut Street at Lee Avenue, and Fairmont Avenue at Oak
Street.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Based on the accident records and traffic volumes,
staff r�?commen s converting the'"yield" signs t,, "stop" signs -t these four
intersections. The volumes indicate that four-wuy stop signs would not Se
justified, and the existing right-of-way control is on the appropriate street.

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CONVERSION OF "YIELD" SIGNS
To "STOP" SIGNS ON ROSE STREET AT KWR)T STREET,
LINCOLN AVENUE AT DAISY AVENUE, CHESTNUT STREET AT LEE AVENUE,
AND FAIRMONT AVENUE AT OAK STREET, LODI
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve the conversion of "Yield" signs to "Stop" signs on Rose Street
at Walnut Street, Lincoln Avenue at Daisy Avenue, Chestnut Street at
Lee Avenue, and Fairmont Avenue at Oak Street, Lodi.
