man Pinkerton, Council, on motion of Councilman
Pinkerton, Hughes second, adopted Resolution No.
81-19, whereby the City Council of the City of
Lodi, California, commends and Supports President
Ronald Reagan on the various programs introduced
by his administration reducing the size of
Government, supporting fiscal restraint and

RESOLUTION NO. 81-19
RESOLUTION OF THE CITE' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LODI ENDORSING VARIOUS PROGRAMS PROPOSED BY
THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi,
California, commends and supports President Ronald Reagan on
the various programs introduced by his administration reducing
the size of Government, supporting fiscal restraint and respon-
sibility and fortifying our national defense.
The City Council of the City of Lodi is most encouraged
that through programs of the type proposed by this administration,
the citizens of this great nation can look forward to the quality
of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness so dearly sought
and paid for by our forefathers.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 8119 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi
in a regular meeting held March 4, 1981 by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes: Councilmen _ McCarty, Hughes, Pinkerton and
Katnich

Bravo to the City of Lodi!
I was absolutely delighted to receive Resolution No. 81-19
endorsing the various programs proposed by the President of
the United States. As one who strongly supports reductions in
both spending and taxes, bringing the goverment down to sizes
and fortifying the national defense, I wholeheartedly agree with your
thinking.
The City of Lodi is to be commended for this extremely responsible
action, and for having the courage to realize that sacrifices
will be rewired of all of us if the goals we desire are to be
achieved. I small look forward to working with you during the
coming months, and to nearing further from you in the future.
