Dear Council Members and City Managers:
The Board of Supervisors has asked me to coordinate an effort of city govern-
ment officials, school districts, and representatives of developers in an
attempt to find a workable solution to the problems of residential develop-
ments' impaction on school districts. This group will be primarily responsible
for proposing an alternative or changes to the "bedroom tax" now 'Ln effect.
An initial meeting has been scheduled for 3 p.m. in the Chambers of the Board
of Supervisors on Monday, February 23, and I would appreciate your city sending
a representative to that meeting. If possible, please call my office as soon
as possible to let me know who your representative will be.
