PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC C014PANY (PGandE) hereby gives notice
that in Application No® 60225, filed with the California Public
Utilities Commission on January 30, 1981, it has requested
authorization to increase PGandEls electric rates and chargee
related to energy costs. The proposed adjustment rates will
increase PGandEes electric revenues about 18 percent, or $176>4
million for the four month period April 1, 1981 to July 31, 19810
A copy of the application and related exhibits may be
examined at the offices of the California Public Utilities
Commission, State Building, 350 McAllister Street, San Francisco,
California 941025 at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, 77 Beale
Street (Room 3107), San Francisco, California 941065 and c/o the
Division Managers in PGandE's Division Headquarters in Eureka,
Red Bluff, Chico, Marysville, Sacramento, Auburn, San Rafael,
San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Salinas, Fresno, and Stockton®
