by Council Member Olson and carried by unanimous vote.
Council Ma,-ber Pinkerton then moved for introduction of
Ordinance No. 1284 - An Ordinance rezoning the subject
property fran R-t D, Medium Density Multiple Family
Residential to C-2, General Commercial. The motion was
secondod by Mayor Pro Tempore ftuphy and carried by
unanimous vote.

APPROVAL OF GENERAL PLAN LAND USE ELEMENT NO.
GPA -LU -83-1 WHICH CONSISTS OF THE REQUEST OF
GENE G. WALTON, ATTORNEY AT LAW, ON BEHALF OF
LEON A. AND GEORGIA PERLEGOS (C/O SAVE MART FOODS)
TO REDESIGNATE THE PARCEL AT 1332 SOUTH HUTCHINS
STREET FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wednesday, February 16, 1983,
at the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard,
the Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers,
C=1ty Hall , 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, Cal ifornia, to consider the rec(xhmended
approval of General Plan Land Use Element No. GPA -LU -83-1 which consists of
the request of Gene G. Walton, Attorney at Law, on behalf of Leon A. and
Georgia Perlegos (c/o Save Mart Fuods) to redesignate the parcel at 1332 South
Hutchins Street from Medium Density Residential to General Commercial.
Information regarding this item may be obtained in the office of
the Community Development Director at 221 West Pine Street, Lodi, California.
All interested persons are invited to present their views either for or against
the above proposal. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any
time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements may be made at
said hearing.

the hour of 8:00 p.m. ur as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the
Lodi City Council will conduct a public hearing in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, 211 West Pine Street, Lodi, California, to consider the recommendation
that the filing of a Negative Declaration by the Community Development Director
was Adequa.t!� Environmental Documentation on the above project.
