Following introduction of the matter by City Clerk Reimche,
who explained that recently a certain parcel of land
located in the Willow Oaks Industrial Park had been acquired
through foreclosure proceedings. The assessments on this
particular parcel had for a period of time been under the
purview of the County Tax Collector for collection; however,
this arrangement had been eliminated during the foreclosure
procedures.
Council was requested to once again authorize the County Tax
Collector to collect assessments on the subject parcel.
Council, on motion of Mayor Pro Tempore Hinchman, Reid
second, adopted Resolution No. 85-31 authorizing the County
Tax Collector to collect assessments oiL the Willow Oak --
Industrial Park Parcel No. 42-20-19.

Enclosed herewith please find a certified copy of Resolution No.
85-31 - Resolution requesting the San Joaquin County Tax Collector
to collect assessment on Assessors Parcel No. 42-20-19 (Assessment
No. 3) commencing with the 1985 taxes, which resolution was adopted
by the Lodi City Council at its regular meeting of February 6,
1985.

RESOLUTION NO. 85-31
RESOLUTION REQUESTING SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY TAX
COLLECTOR TO COLLECT ASSESSMENT ON ASSESSORS
PARCEL NO. 42-20-19 (ASSESSMENT NO. 3), COMMENCING
WITH THE 1985 TAXES
WHEREAS, there is -heretofore been duly and regularly issued
and recorded an assessment for the improvement of Assessors Parcel
No. 42-20-19 (formerly 49-20-15) under Resolution of Intention No.
81-39 of the City Council of the City of Lodi passed and adopted
the 15th day of April, 1981; and
WHEREAS, on January 18, 1984, the Lodi City Council adopted
Resolution No. 84--005 relieving the San Joaquin County Tax
Collector of further duty in the collection of the subject
assessment on the heretofore named parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE{, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Lodi does hereby request the San Joaquin County Tax
Collector to once again initiate the collection of the subject -
assessment on the heretofore named parcel, commencing with the 1985
taxes.
