RECCkMErIDED ACTION: Council adopt Resolution No. 87-23 - A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Lodi, California, Ordering the Parkview Terrace Reorganization (LA`C 19-86) Without Hearing or Notice, including Annexation to the City of Lodi and Detachment from the Woodbridge Fire District (Exhibit B}, At the Novottber 4, 1986 General Election, the electorate amended the Land Use Element of the General Plan by adding Parkview Terrace. This project is a 20 acre, 155 unit adult community at the northeast corner of West Lodi Avenue and Lower Sacramento Road. On November 19, 1986, Council adopted Resolution No. 86-169 initiating annexation proceedings on the subject parcel.. Following a public hearing regarding the matter held on January 16, 1987, the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County determined and ordered the following: 1. The Ernvira nreental Impact Report adopted by the City of Lodi as lead agency has been reviewed and considered, and a statement of overriding considerations is hereby adopted. 2. The above entitled reorganization is approved subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. 3. The boundaries are hereby approved as submitted, said boundaries being set forth in Exhibit A. 4. The affected territory is uninhabited 5. The City of Lodi is designated as the conducting authority and the City Council is authorized to ccmplete proceedings for uninhabited reorganization without notice and hearing in accordance with Section 57002.b of the Government Code. NOW, THERFFORE, the Local Agency Formation Commission of San Joaquin County DOES IIEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER as follows: Section 1. The City of Lodi issued and filed herewith, pursuant to your January 22, 1987 letter, a check in the amount of $250.00 payable to the State Board of Equalization covering the filing fee. Reimche #_ I City Clerk AMR: jj E �' €° _ `u: RE'SOLILTI-ION NO. 87-2233 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI, CALIF01%NTA ORDERING THE PARKVIEW TERRACE REORGANIZATION (LAFC 19-86) WITHOUT NOTICE AND EiEARING, INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND DETACHMENT FROM TIE WOODBRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT BEFORE THB CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI IN THE nX=R OF THE PARKVLEW TERRACE ) RESOLUTION MAKR,iG F00RGANIZATIP'i (LAFC 19-86) , IN=, -,4G } DETERKIMTIONS ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND ) AND ORDERING DETACH[M�f FRCM THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE ) REORGANIZATION DISTRICT ) WITHOUT E=ION SECTION I: RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUDI THAT IT DETERMINES: a) Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of described territory to the City of Lodi and detachment from the Woodbridge Fire District, were initiated by the filing of Resolution No. 86-169 with the Local Agency Formation Commission in the County of San Joaquin pursuant to the requirements of the District Reorganization Act. b) Thereafter appropriate proceedings were conducted b� said Local Agency Formation Ccamission and the said Commission on the 16th day of January, 1987 adopted Resolution No. 695 approving the proposed reorganization without public notice and hearing subject to the terms and conditions set forth within the subject resolution. c) Resolution No. 695 of the Local Agency Formation Cow-ission approving the proposed reorganization also authorizes the City of Lodi to take proceedings for reorganization as the designated Conducting Authority, pursuant to Part 5, Division I, Title 6 of the Government Code, eamiencing with Section 56290, et seq. SECTION II: RESOLVED BY TFX CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI: a) That each of the changes in the organization contained in the proposal for reorganization is ORDERED without an election, pursuant to Government Code Section 56439 (c). The changes of organization consist of: (1) Annexation of the Parkview Terrace Addition, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached. (2) Detachment of the Parkview Terrace Addition, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached frau the Woodbridge Fire District. Addition"as described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 1996, which point is 30 feet Northerly and 1120 feet Easterly of the South Quarter corner of said Section 3, and also being ori the North line of Lodi Avenue (formerly.
