The request was continued for the following reasons: (1) to provide the staff ample time to prepare a report on the City Ordinance covering card roans, licensing procedures for this land use and complaints concerning card rooms, and (2) to permit the applicant time to alleviate the noise problem which neighbors claim is earning from the Sky Room Cock t a i l Lounge. 2. Continued until April 9, 1984, consideration of the request of Ermanno DeBernard for a Use Permit to convert a portion of a restaurant and cocktail lounge located at 100 and 1'2 South Cherokee Lane into a card room in an area zoned C-2, General Commercial. The request was continued for the following reasons: (1) to provide the staff ample time to prepare a report on the City Ordinance covering card rooms, licensing procedures for this land use and complaints con- cerning card rooms, and (2) to permit the applicant time to eleviate the noise problem which neighbors claim is coming from the Sky Room Cocktail Lounge. 2. Determined that the hardship and neighborhood benefit finding for a Zoning Variance existed and approved the request of Kenneth Heffel on behalf of Vienna Golden State Convalescent Hospital for a Variance to reduce the required off-street parking from 50 spaces to 45 spaces to permit two additions to an existing facility at 800 South Ham Lane in an area zoned R -CP, Residential -Commercial -Professional.
