COMMENTS BY CITY COUNCILMEN SCHOOL IMPACTION Councilman Pinkerton pointed out that a recent TASK FORCE TO newspaper article indicated that a County Task FORMED Force was being formed at the direction of County Board of Supervisors' Chairman Doug Wilhoit to seek solutions to the overcrowding in the County school systems and to give the Supervisors a more aggressive role in solving the problem of over- crowding. Council asked that a letter be directed to Chairman Wilhoit indicating its concern that the Lodi City Council be represented on this Task Force and for a clarification on the charge of the Task Force. Weber Ave., Room 701 Stockton, CA 95202 Dear Chairman Wilhoit: At the January 21, 1981 City Council meeting, it was pointed out that a recent newspaper article indicated that a County task force to seek solutions to the overcrowding in County school systems was formed at your direction. The task force, according to the article will be chaired by Supervisor Barber and is designed to give the Supervisors a more egressive role in solving the problem of overcrowding.
