NM DATED DECEMBER 21, 1981. The eskmated cost to provide adequate lighting for the parking lot located at the southeast corner of Elm and Sacramento Streets is $1,280. The installation would consist of two wooden poles, each with a 100 -watt sodium luminaire. The source of power would be overhead secondary distribution (see attached drawing for detail). 4 Should`we assume that this lighting system can be installed without formal authorization from the property owner (S.P. FROM: Pub] is 12 -Dr", Dir-;cto; DATE: December 21, 1981 SUBJECT: Request for Lighting City Parking Lot at Southeast Corner of Elm and Sacramento Streets After the last Council meeting of December 16, 1981, Councilman Katnich, together with one other Councilman, requested that I do whatever was required to provide lighting at the subject parking lot. Attached is a map showing the location of this lot which is on Southern Pacific Rail- road property. If it is determined that lighting can and should be installed, the ap- propriate account number for charging the work is 10-504.01 "Maintenance Parking Lots." it should be pointed out that no funds for this in- stallation have been budgeted. I'll be happy to process the necessary special allocation request once the cost is known. Jac L.
