Widening would only bring more traffic and encourage excessive speeding in this n�.ainly residential area. There is entirely too much traffic on Hutchins now. We don't need more. Imagine the congestion the widening would cause at the: intersection of Hutchins & Lodi Avenue. It is bad enough as it is! Re niche City Clerk AMR: Ji enc. r NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING BY TME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI REGARDING THE HUTCHINS STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, KETTLEMAN LANE TO PINE STREET, LODI NOTICE !S at the hour of 8:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, the Lodi City Council will conduct a Public Hearing regarding the Hutchins Street Improvement Project, Kettleman Lane to Pine Street, Lodi., and to certify the Environmental Impact Report. The projects include: o Reconstructing the pavement o Widening the street o Improving drainage o Acquiring right-of-way o Upgrading Kettleman-Hutchins traffic signal (work done by Szate) Information regarding this item may be obtained by contacting Richard Prima, Associate Civil Engineer at City Hall. All interested persons are invited to present their views on this matter. Written statements may be filed with the City Clerk at any time prior to the hearing scheduled herein and oral statements may be made at said hearing.
