"The Arts in Lodi," a Px4 t{aid.G` containing
information about arts groups in and around Lodi, has
recently been published by the Lodi Arts Commission and is available
for public distribution without charge.
Copies of the brochure are available at the Loeli Public Library, the
Chamber of Commerce, and the Arts Commission office, or may be obtained
by calling369-952 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each Wednesday. The
LAC office, located in the old Carnegie Libra•cy bmilding at 305 W.
Pine Street, is open a..:ing the same hours. Copies have also been
distributed to the arts groups mentioned in the brochure, as well
as the advertisers listed there, also.
All arts and artists commercial suppliers were invited to partici-
pate when the brochure was being compiled during the past fall. The
Arts Commission plans to update the pamphlet annually on a calendar
year basis, and invitations to participate will again be sent to all
such suppliers, probably during the latter Oart of the corning fall.
Groups mentioned in the brochure, which is a bright yellow with a
contrasting design on the front include the Friends of the Lodi Library,
Lodi League of the Stockton Symphony, Tokay Players, Lodi Art Center,
Lodi Writers Association, Lodi Community Band, Poets' Roundtable, Lodi
Camera Club, Lodi Gem and Mineral Society, Lodi Community Concerts As-
sociation, Lodi Music Teachers Association, Str-ckton Chorale, San
Joaquin Ballet Association, Stockton Symphony Association, Delta Chap-
ter of Sweet Adelines, and the Stockton chapter of the Society for the
