RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LODI DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ABANDON PORTIONS
77 EASEMENT IN LOT 5, LODI INDUSTRIAL PARK
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi
as follows:
It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Lodi, acting in accordance with the provisions of Section
50430 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California
to vacate and abandon the 5' x 25' easement located on Lot S.
Lodi Industrial Park and more particularly described as follows:
The North 5.00 feet of the East 25.00 feet of Lot
S, Lodi Industrial Park as shown on Map filed for record
March 25, 1958, in Volume 14, page 139, Book of Maps
and Plats, San Joaquin County Records.
Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi for the
particulars as to the proposed vacation.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council does hereby
fix Wednesday, January 7, 1981, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. in
the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California, as
the time and place where and when all persons interested in
or objecting to the vacation herein proposed may appear before
the City Council and be heard.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Public Works Director shall
cause to be posted notices of easement vacation conspicuously
along the line of the easement herein above described and
proposed to be vacated in the manner, form and for the length

of time set forth in Section 50441 of the Goverment Code of
the State of California.
FURTHER RESOLVED, the copies of this resolution shall
be published for at least two successive weeks prior to Jamrk, r,7
70 1981 in the Lodi Sentinel, a daily newspaper of general
circulation printed and published in the City of Lodi, County
of San Joaquin.

and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
a regular adjourned meeting held December 100 1980
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Hughes, McCarty, Murphy, and
Katnich

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt an order of Abandonment to
abandon the 5 x 25 foot easement located in Lot 5, Lodi industrial Park, as
shown on the attached map.
dACICROUND INFORMATION: At the Council meeting of December 10, 1980, the
ty.,Counc adopt a resolution of intent to abandon this easement and
forwarded It to the Planning Commission for their finding: The Planning
Col"Ission not on December 8, 1980, and found that there was no public need.

PG&E. Pacific Telephone, Lodi Cable TV, and the City of Lodi Utilities, have
all Indicated they have no problem with this proposed abandonment.
