RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the plans and specifications
or t9 above ment.i'oned project and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for
bids to be received Tuesday, January 19, 1982.
BACKGROUND iNEORMAT-I-ON: The reconstruction of Sacramento Street Industrial
Waste LITt Station -was approved in the 80-81 Capital Improvement Budget and
rebudgeted in the 81-82 budget.
In general, the work consists of furnishing and delivering two (2) submersible
non -clog sewage pumps.
NOTE: Due to -long delivery ti." for pumps and motors, the bid will be
opened JAnuary 19, 1982 and sent to Council for awarding January 20, 1982.
The engineer's contract estimate is $20,000. The: total cost of the project
Is estimate!, -.t $60.000.
