Jr. City Manager ALICE M. REINICHE City Clerk RONALD M. STEIN City Attorney Please be advised that the Lodi City Council, in action taken at its regular meeting of January 5, 1983, directed that the collection of entrance fees at Lodi Lake Park be eliminated %rom November 1 through the end of February. Also attached is a copy of the minutes of the October G, 1982 Council meeting pertaining to the ent-i-ance fee and park patrol. If there is any other information we can provide, please do not hesitate to call. Alice M. Reimche City Clerk M E M 0 R A N D U ri TO: Mr. Henry Glaves, City Manager FROM: Ed DeBenedetti, Director Recreation and Parks DATE: January 3, 1983 SUBJECT: LODI LAKE PARKING FEES Based on the attached figures it would appear that we would want to eliminate, for the present, the gate parking fee at Lodi Lake Park. We start charging daily at 1:00 p.m. until closing. My suggestion would be to do away with the gate fee Monday through Friday, Charge weekends only, weather permitting thru January and February. I believe the nasty weather has been a big factor in the skimpy attendance. Regardless, for now and future years we may want to close dawn November, December, and January. If we have a problem we can always change our procedure.
