SUBJECT: Crosswalks Vicinity of Mokelumne Village
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council adopt a resolution establishing
crosswalks across Turner Road on the east side of Coloma Street; across
Miwok Drive on the north side of Turner Road and; across Wintun Drive on the
north side of Turner Road. (See attached)
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Mokelumne Village, a subdivision north of Turner
Road near Stockton treet. has generated a number of children who attend
Lawrence School and must cross Turner Road in this area. To facilitate
these crossings, the Engineering Department recommends the installation of
the crosswalks.
Parents of children using the crossings should be made aware by school
officials that the average speed of vehicles on Turner Road in this vicinity
is approximately 45 mph, and they should use extreme caution in assisting
their child n across Turner Road.

RESOLUTION NO. 84-001
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CROSSWALKS ACROSS
TURNER ROAD ON THE EAST SIDE OF COLOMA STREET,
ACROSS MIWVK DRIVE ON THE NORTH SIDE OF TURNER
ROAD, AND ACROSS WINTUN DRIVE ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF TURNER ROAD
RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lodi
does hereby establish crosswalks across Turner Road on the
east side of Coloma Street# across Miwok Drive,on.,,the.,,north
-' 'Si'de of Turner Road,`- and 'across W stun Drive on the north side
of Turner Road as show on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
thereby made a part hereof.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 84-001 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
a regular meeting held Janukary 4, 1984 by the
following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Murphy, Pinkerton, Snider,

Drive and across Miwok Drive on the north side of Turner Road (see attached).
