HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 5, 1988 (48)C 0 N C I L C O M M U N I C A 1 O N TO: THE CITY COUNCIL FROM: THE CITY MANAGER'S OFFICE COUNCIL MEETING DATE: OCTOBER 5, 1988 SUBJECT: ORDINANCE NO. 1437 ENTITLED - "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SPECIFIC PLAN OF LOWER SACRAMFT,JO ROAD BETWEEN KETTLEMAN LANE AND LODI AVENUE, LODI" Ordinance No. 1437 - "An Ordinance bending the Specific Plan of Lower Sacramento Road Between Kettleman Lane and Lodi Avenue, Lodi" was introduced at the adjourned regular meeting of September 28, 1988. Pursuant to State Statute, ordinances may be adopted five days after their introduction following reading by title. This Ordinance has been approved as to form by the City Attorney. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Following reading by title, it would be appropriate for the Lodi City Council to adopt Ordinance No. 1437 Alice M. A10mche City Clerk AMR:jj COUNC034 TXTA.02D ORDNANCE NO. 1437 AN ORDINANCE AN0MK' THE SPECIFIC PLAN OF LOWER SACRANIITM ROAD BETWEEN KETTLEMAN LANE AND LODI AVENUE, LODI The City Council of the City of Lodi does ordain as follows: Section 1. Authority - Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter ' (commencing with Section 65450) of Title 7 of the Government Code of the State of California, and pursuant to that certain General Plan, as amended, for the City of Lodi, adopted by the City Council, Resolution No. 1885, on October 5, 1955, the Specific Plan for Lower Sacramento Road between Kettleman Lane and Lodi Avenue, Lodi, as adopted by Resolution No. 3665, on August 16, 1972, is hereby ratified and amended. Section 2. Purpose - It is hereby declared that this Specific Plan is adopted to provide for and protect the health, safety, and convenience and welfare of the citizens of the City of Lodi. Section 3. The City Council may, by motion action, from time to time vary the fencing and sidewalk details as displayed on Drawing 721370 of the City of Lodi. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed insofar as such conflict may exist. -S-e-ction 5.
