Dear Tom
King Videocable Company is changing some rates effective
October 1, 1989. These rates were last changed October 1, 1388, and
at that time some of the rates were reduced. ?
W continue to receive very favorable response to our programming
choices and the quality of service we are providing. We are looking
at new additional programming for 1990 and are surveying and talking
to customers this fall regarding possible choices to meet their needs
and interests.

FROM : City Manager
DATE: September 7, 1989
SUBJ : Cable TV Rate Adjustment
Attached for your information and review i s a copy of a letter from Ms.
Deanne Enright, General Manager, King Videocable Company, advising of the
latest rate adjustment. Attached to the letter is a copy of the revised
rate schedule which will be effective October 1, 1989. The most recent
adjustments were Wade effective October 1, 1988 and June 1, 1989. The
tabulation attached to the letter presents these numbers.
This letter will appear as a "Communication" on the agenda for the
regular meeting of September 20, 1989. As the City Council is aware, it
has no rate setting authority in the field of cable television. This is
for information only.
With regard to Giantsvision, it is unknown at this time whether or not
there will be a rate adjustment next season. The local cable company
must wait to hear from the Giantsvision people later this year.
