W continue to receive very favorable response to our programming choices and the quality of service we are providing. COUN640 =R; -7'k4 MEMORANDUM ------------------- ------------------- T0: The Honorable Mayor and Metnbets of the City Council FROM : City Manager DATE: September 7, 1989 SUBJ : Cable TV Rate Adjustment Attached for your information and review i s a copy of a letter from Ms. Deanne Enright, General Manager, King Videocable Company, advising of the latest rate adjustment. Attached to the letter is a copy of the revised rate schedule which will be effective October 1, 1989. The most recent adjustments were Wade effective October 1, 1988 and June 1, 1989. The tabulation attached to the letter presents these numbers. This letter will appear as a "Communication" on the agenda for the regular meeting of September 20, 1989. As the City Council is aware, it has no rate setting authority in the field of cable television. This is for information only. With regard to Giantsvision, it is unknown at this time whether or not there will be a rate adjustment next season.
