RECOMMENDED ACTION: The City Council appoint Mel Grandi, Electrical
Engineer, to the City's Deferred Compensation
Committee.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: Glen Robison, a member of the City of Lodi Deferred
Compensation, Committee, is retiring. The City's plan
document requires a Committee of six members, all
City employees, be appointed by the City Council. Mel Grandi has expressed an
interest in serving on this Committee. I believe he will be an asset, and
suggest the Council appoint him to fill the vacancy.

This letter will confirm action taken by the Lodi City Council at its
regular meeting of September 7, 1988 whereby you were appointed to the
City's Deferred Compensation Committee.
The other members of the committee are:
Alice Reimche
Bob Holm
Corey Wadlow
Elsie Temp
Chairman Jerry Glenn will be providing you with information concerning
the committee and its charge and the adopted City Deferred Compensation
Plan very shortly.
