Code, the Department of Justice is authorized to charge agencies submitting noncriminal applicant fingerprints a fee sufficient to support the costs of the program. Basad on the approved budget for the Department of Justice for Fiscal Year 1989-90 the fee will remain eighteen dollars and fifty cents ( "18.50) through June 30, 1990. This fee applies to noncriminal applicant purposes, including those for cri-n•inal justice enployees and peace officer clearances. i t FBI Applicant Fi g-erprint Fees 4 since the federal fiscal year begins October 1, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) applicant fingerprint fee has not been reassessed at this time. Therefore the F'BI fee will remain fourteen dollars ($14.00) until further notice. Please note that the FBI does exenpt law enforcement personnel from i their fee. 1 Record Review and Immigration Clearances under Section 11120-11127 of the Penal Code, individuals are offered the opportunity to obtain a copy of their state sL=ary criminal history record for purposes of determining completeness and accuracy. Also, under Section 11105(c) (8) of tr Penal Code, individuals may sulanit a request to the Department of justice for a record clearance as needed for imnigration purposes. The Department of Justice fee for these services w i 11 remain t,,oenty dollars ($20.00) for the Fiscal Year 1989-90. Carrying Concealed Wapon (CCM Fees The new rate for CCW initial applications will increase to twenty-four dollars and twenty-five cents ($24.25) . The CCW renewal rate will increase to five dollars and seventy-five cents ($5.75). Both the initial application and renewal rates will be effective September 1, 1989.
