BAOIGBOLMD INF)MAZTON: The specifications for type II slurry seat for various City streets were approved by the City Council at its meeting July 19, 1989, and three (3) bids were received. The cost of slurry seal per square foot increased 20 percent since the last time the City requested bids, which was July 1988. Graham Contractors, Inc., San Jose, California, and Valley Slurry Seal Co., Sacramento, California, submitted identical costs per square foot bids. This recommendation was decided by a coin toss immediately following the bid opening on August 2, 1989. Attached is aM-' ation of the bids ack L.
