LOT AT NORTH

AND LOCKEFORD
STREET Following receipt of a letter from the American Legion,
Lodi Post No. 22, regarding the parking lot at North
CC -16 Washington Street and Lockeford Street, the City manager
CC -150 was requested to check to see if Mr. Stanley W. Harkness,
dba Stan's Tours, 'is in vi of ati )n of his Hmr, OccupatJ on
Permit in the conduct of his business.
Further, i t , was suggested that the subject parking lot
could have a time 'limit on vehicles parking there.

Dear tor. Peterson,
This is in reference to the parking lot located at
North Washington Street and Locke ford Street. The
problem still exists with the buses that load at this
lot for trips to Lake Tahoe and Reno causing the lot
to he filled with cars. You have sent letters (1987)
to Josie Sweeney (50 Plus Club) and Stan Harkness
reflecting the problem it was causing the American
Legion and the Armory in their rtntals but the problem
still exists. We depend on the rental of our building
to survive and need the parking space.
The American Legion would appreciate your looking into
this matter for us.
